Job Responsibilities

Role summary: As an Assistant Project Manager you will plan, coordinate and execute projects across their lifecycle, maintain client relationships, ensure quality deliverables, and coordinate cross-functional teams (Development, SQA, Solution Design, Training, Finance). You will work from the office in Dhaka and lead activities that directly affect project outcomes and client satisfaction. Engage tactfully with government and other institutional stakeholders where required. Detailed duties & expectations: Lead weekly project status meetings and prepare monitoring reports for stakeholders. Ensure consistent documentation and version control in project repositories and tools. Support contract and budget monitoring processes; flag risks and propose mitigation plans. Coach and mentor junior team members on project execution and client communication. Perform logic-driven negotiations with stakeholders and make timely decisions using available information. Required skills & qualifications: Minimum education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering (or equivalent). Experience: 2 to 4 years working in a software company or IT enabled service environment with exposure to project delivery. Strong project management skills and familiarity with project tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and Visio. Hands-on experience with software implementation projects and software engineering processes. Excellent written and spoken English; advanced communication skills for effective and goal-oriented project management. Ability to work cooperatively with clients and internal teams, set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organisational effectiveness. Proactive problem-solving attitude, keen observation, attention to detail, and strong decision-making capabilities. Prior experience working with government clients is an advantage.
