Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, code, and implement Odoo applications and modules using Python, JavaScript (OWL framework), and XML.
- Work with Odoo External and Internal APIs (REST / RPC) to integrate third-party systems.
- Maintain version control using Git for all development activities, including branching, merging, and version tracking.
- Design and develop reports within Odoo (using QWeb or XLSX) to support business analytics.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues and bugs, working closely with QA and testing teams.

Key responsibilities (this job will require you to perform the following): Collaborate with the development team to design, code, and implement Odoo applications and modules using Python, JavaScript (OWL framework), and XML. Work with Odoo External and Internal APIs (REST / RPC) to integrate third-party systems. Maintain version control using Git for all development activities, including branching, merging, and version tracking. Design and develop reports within Odoo (using QWeb or XLSX) to support business analytics and reporting needs. Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues and bugs, working closely with QA and testing teams to ensure a stable product. Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and technical documentation to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. Required skills and technical competencies (must-have for the job): Proficient in Python and JavaScript (experience with OWL or modern JS frameworks is a plus). Hands-on experience with Odoo framework, including module development, models, views, and workflows. Comfortable with XML for views, QWeb templates, and report generation. Experience integrating external systems via REST or RPC APIs and handling authentication, data mapping, and error handling. Strong Git experience for version control, pull requests, and code reviews. Ability to debug, profile, and optimize Odoo-based applications and write unit or integration tests where applicable. Experience and education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience working in IT Enabled Services, Computer Hardware/Network companies, or similar environments with Odoo development projects. Other desirable qualifications and attributes: Practical experience completing full Odoo implementation projects will be highly valued. Familiarity with common Odoo functional modules (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, HR) is a plus. Good communication skills, team collaboration, and problem-solving orientation.
