Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the operational playbook for driver acquisition, verification, onboarding, and training.
- Lead the Dhaka launch: establish zones, recruit hub teams, and ensure driver availability and density from Day 1.
- Manage daily delivery operations and continuously optimize key KPIs (delivery time, acceptance rate, utilization, cost-per-delivery).
- Design and manage driver incentive structures, payout systems, and performance management.
- Create scalable expansion strategies and city-launch blueprints for rollout across Bangladesh.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operations team including city managers and fleet supervisors.
- Own resolution of logistics challenges including peak-hour management, rider complaints, and operational bottlenecks.

OverviewNEWNESS FASHION LTD is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to architect and scale a high-performing freelance driver network for its on-demand modules (Food, Grocery, Pharmacy, Parcel) as part of a multi-module Super App. This job presents a rare ground-floor leadership opportunity to build logistics operations from zero in Bangladesh.
