Job Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality presentations, data analysis and reports for Board and ExCo meetings, and for external investor/lender presentations.
- Assist in the development of treasury related policies, guidelines, and operational manuals.
- Conduct economic and market analyses across ASAIG’s operating markets; keep up to date about market indicators and prepare comparative assessments of term sheets received from subsidiaries.
- Prepare funding mix and cost of fund analysis reports and support implementation of the Group’s hedging strategy by coordinating execution of hedging transactions across subsidiaries.
- Prepare and maintain the funding pipeline report, ensure timely updates of the funding tracker, and manage engagement with country teams.
- Draft, review, and finalize loan agreements and related documentation for ASAI subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with Legal team in KYC process.
- Monitor compliance with financial and non-financial covenants and ensure timely updates and reporting.
- Carry out financial and portfolio analyses as required by management.
- Organize and facilitate internal and external lender meetings as needed.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as may be assigned by ASAI management from time to time.

Detailed responsibilities Produce clear, investor-grade presentations, reports and financial models to enable senior management decision-making and support board-level discussions. Develop, review and operationalize treasury policies and procedures ensuring alignment with group objectives and regulatory requirements in Bangladesh and other jurisdictions. Analyze market indicators and country-specific macroeconomic data to evaluate funding proposals and recommend optimal funding structures and hedging approaches. Build and maintain a detailed funding pipeline and tracker; escalate risks and delays and co-ordinate with country teams to secure timely documentation and approvals. Support negotiation and legal review of funding documentation and ensure timely execution of loan agreements and security documentation where applicable. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (banks, investors, legal counsels) to ensure smooth execution of funding and hedging transactions. Monitor covenant compliance, prepare covenant reports and highlight issues to management for remedial action. Deliver ad-hoc financial and portfolio analytics requested by senior management to support strategic initiatives. Required qualifications & skills Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent. Relevant professional qualifications (CFA, ACCA, CA – part qualified encouraged) are highly regarded. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banks, investment/merchant banking, multinational companies, group companies or micro-credit operations. Strong knowledge of international banking, funding markets, investments, hedging products and financial transaction processes. Excellent financial modelling, investment analysis and MIS reporting capabilities. High-level presentation, report-writing and business communication skills for investor and Board engagement. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in cross-functional and multi-jurisdictional teams, detail-oriented and proactive. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant financial software.
