Supervise student research, theses and advise students academically. Conduct and lead high-quality research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and mentor junior faculty and researchers. Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, academic committees and university service. Contribute to community outreach and support the mission and vision of the company/university. Required qualifications and education: Educational qualification: Minimum Bachelor/Honours and Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject. Applicants with MPhil/PhD will be considered according to the stated experience criteria. Academic record: Candidates must have first class/first division (or minimum CGPA 4.00 out of 5.00 and 3.00 out of 4.00) from SSC through post-graduate levels in any three examination levels. Third division/class in any level is not acceptable. Experience and publications (critical requirements): Minimum overall teaching/research experience: at least 20 years (minimumYears: 20). Specific experience expectations depend on highest degree: for Master’s holders at least 20 years with 7 years as Associate Professor within that period; for MPhil holders at least 18 years with 6 years as Associate Professor; for PhD holders at least 13 years with 5 years as Associate Professor. Research output: A minimum of 12 publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals is required for all candidates. At least 6 publications must have been produced during the period as Associate Professor; among these at least 3 must be as First Author or Corresponding Author. At least one publication should be in an indexed or impact-factor journal. Skills and other requirements: Strong record of teaching, supervision and academic leadership. Proven research capability with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Computer literacy and ability to use relevant academic and administrative software. Good communication skills in English and Bengali for teaching, research and administration. Open to both male and female applicants (Gender: M,F).
