Job Responsibilities
- To direct & control overall administrative activities in the factory.
- To assure total compliance of the factory.
- Responsible for implementing & monitoring of HR policies as per local laws and company policies.
- Responsible for worker recruitment, attendance, authorization and management of overtime, leave management, legal compliance / code of conduct, general administration, etc.
- Handling disciplinary & grievance issues as per law and resolving employee’s grievances.
- Identify / assess and ensure all safety measures pertinent to fire hazard, employee first aid facility & overall security of company resources and properties.
- Responsible for proper maintenance of all company vehicles and monitor all modes of transportation in and out of the factory in a very cost effective and efficient manner.
- Review different reports submitted by the Officers & prepare reports independently.
- Contribute to maintain a congenial work environment among all line members and departments.
- Maintain relationships with Compliance Auditors, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Authorities, etc.
- To look after legal matters including dealing with law enforcing agencies as and when required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as entrusted by the management from time to time.

Key job responsibilities: Direct and control overall administrative activities in the factory to ensure a smooth work environment. Ensure total compliance of the factory with company policies and local legal requirements. Implement and monitor HR policies in line with local laws and organizational guidelines. Manage worker recruitment, attendance systems, overtime authorization, leave management, and general administration. Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time. Required qualifications & education: Bachelor/Honors or Master’s degree. Preferred fields: Business, HRM, Management or related graduate qualifications from any recognized university. At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within Design/Printing/Publishing or the Packaging industry. Required skills & competencies: Strong HR operations knowledge including recruitment, attendance, leave & overtime management. Familiarity with Bangladesh Labor Law (Labor Act 2006 and amendments 2018) and other statutory compliance requirements. Excellent correspondence and written communication skills. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to manage worker relations and cross-department coordination. Ability to handle disciplinary and grievance procedures professionally and legally. Good understanding of factory safety protocols, first aid arrangements, and security management. Experience in vehicle fleet oversight and optimizing transportation costs. Proficiency in report preparation and basic computer skills (MS Office). Experience & additional requirements: Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role in a factory or industrial environment. Practical exposure to compliance audits and engagement with regulatory authorities. Demonstrated ability to maintain a congenial and productive work environment among diverse teams.
