Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering or University degree (Textile Engineering, Garment Merchandising or related business/merchandising fields).

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as main interface with vendors to source new factories/vendors and manage vendor relationships on behalf of Business Units.
  • Manage full order follow up from PO issuance until goods are shipped, including ETD and shipment coordination.
  • Follow up on samples, perform quality checking and approvals.
  • Negotiate price, quantity and ETD exceptions and validate discrepancies with sourcing controllers and category managers.
  • Coordinate QC and compliance audits; arrange inspectors and verify compliance records before inspections (RoHS/Cadmium/REACH DoC etc.).
  • Monitor vendor performance using KPIs and vendor scorecards; follow up CAPs and provide vendor training on PO management as necessary.
  • Conduct capacity audits, factory visits and participate in fairs to find new vendors.
  • Provide input for product specifications and cost engineering recommendations to category directors/managers.
  • Manage vendor claims and accept/reject orders in the system for final QC decisions.
