Job Responsibilities
- Perform operations in accordance with established SOPs and job safety standards.
- Respond to abnormalities and take corrective actions consistent with established operating procedures and good engineering practices.
- Analyze plant operating problems and coordinate solutions with shift and maintenance teams to increase plant availability, reliability and safety.
- Maintain shift logs, equipment operation data, parameter trends and equipment history records.
- Conduct routine checking of the plant to inspect equipment and provide feedback to other employees.
- Comply with all site safety requirements and procedures; identify safety hazards and take corrective actions.
- Perform plant switching and tagging of equipment in accordance with approved procedures under management direction.
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Investigate plant problems, incidents and accidents; prepare analyses, recommendations and follow-up plans.
