Overview VSO Bangladesh is seeking a motivated and experienced National Volunteer for Business Development Services (BDS) and Fund Mobilizing. This job opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about strengthening youth-led civil society groups and grassroots organizations across Bangladesh. As a National Volunteer you will work closely with youth networks and community service groups to improve resource mobilisation, create sustainable fundraising approaches, and build simple systems for financial management and accountability. Document learning, prepare concise progress reports and contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities. Required skills and experience Proven experience in fundraising, resource mobilisation or business development services, particularly with community-based or youth-led organisations. Strong coaching, mentoring and capacity-building skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in simple, practical ways. Familiarity with micro-grants, local philanthropy, and innovation funding mechanisms in Bangladesh. Experience in basic financial management, budgeting, and developing accountability systems for small organisations. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work respectfully across diverse communities and gender groups. Good report writing skills in English and Bangla; familiarity with monitoring and evaluation is an advantage. Willingness to travel across Bangladesh and work closely with grassroots networks.
