Job Responsibilities

  • Identify novice entrepreneurs and prepare project proposals with personal and business information.
  • Ensure entrepreneurs attend Design Lab sessions and program activities.
  • Ensure 100% proper utilization of invested funds according to project proposals.
  • Collect installment payments, prepare surety documentation, and issue receipts.
  • Ensure collected funds are deposited in the bank.
  • Assist in unit monthly and annual planning and budgeting.

Ensure entrepreneurs attend Design Lab sessions and other required program activities. Monitor and ensure 100% appropriate utilization of invested funds according to approved project proposals. Manage installment collection: prepare surety documentation, issue receipts, and ensure funds are deposited into the bank promptly. Support unit-level monthly and annual planning and budgeting processes. Conduct daily follow-ups and provide regular SMS updates to entrepreneurs to support continuity and compliance. Maintain professional institutional relationships with entrepreneurs and stakeholders to support program objectives. Perform monthly reconciliation and coordinate advances where necessary. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): In this job, you will be responsible for outreach and direct engagement with potential and existing novice social entrepreneurs. You will prepare project proposals based on careful assessment of business needs and ensure enrolled entrepreneurs participate fully in program activities such as Design Labs. You will be accountable for financial trackability — from installment collection, receipt issuance, deposits to banks, to data entry in the Nobin software. Regular monitoring, reconciliation, and on-the-ground support are critical to ensure project funds are used effectively. You will also assist the unit in preparing monthly and annual plans and budgets and respond to management directives to achieve assigned KPIs. Required education: Bachelor (Honours) or Master’s degree. Candidates with relevant academic background in social sciences, business, development studies, agriculture, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
