Job Responsibilities
- Continuous observation, care and monitoring of admitted psychiatric and addiction patients.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living tasks (feeding, bathing, etc.).
- Ensure correct administration of medicines and treatments as directed by doctors and nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patient rooms and hospital environment.
- Ensure patient safety and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Required Skills
- Basic patient care skills and ability to follow medical instructions.
- Physical fitness and stamina for 12-hour shifts and night shifts.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with psychiatric patients.
- Prior attendant experience in mental health or addiction recovery centers (preferred).

Below is a full description of responsibilities, skills, qualifications, benefits and application details.Key responsibilitiesContinuous close observation, care and monitoring of admitted psychiatric and addiction patients to ensure their well-being and safety.Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living tasks such as feeding and bathing.Administer and ensure correct application of medications and treatments as directed by doctors and nursing staff.Help keep patient rooms and hospital environment clean, orderly and hygienic.Ensure patient safety and respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.Training & working conditionsSuccessful candidates will receive a short in-house training (3 to 7 days) after final selection, depending on job conditions.The role requires willingness to work 12-hour shifts including night shifts; candidates must have the mindset and stamina for shift work.Required qualifications & preferencesMinimum education: SSC (Secondary School Certificate).Age requirement: 18 to 35 years (as stated in the circular).Physical fitness and ability to perform ward duties; minimum height preference: 5 feet 8 inches (5'8").
