Education Requirements

Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting. Preference for CA/CMA/ACCA and strong academic record (minimum 2nd division/class or CGPA 3.00).

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements (Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and Notes).
  • Record and verify all financial transactions in accounting software (Customized Accounting Software).
  • Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and cash books; ensure proper documentation and filing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable; ensure timely supplier payments and follow up on customer dues.
  • Prepare aging reports and coordinate with sales for collections.
  • Budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and support management with budgeting decisions.
  • VAT and tax compliance, support in audits and liaison with external auditors.
  • Maintain internal control systems and financial reporting procedures.
  • Digitalize financial records and improve traceability and compliance.
  • Inventory and cost tracking and management; support cost planning with supply chain and commercial teams.
