The Director - Admin will play a pivotal role in shaping administrative policies, ensuring compliance, and leading teams to deliver high-quality support services to the organization.Key responsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and direction for all administrative functions, including office management, facilities, security, procurement, and vendor management.Develop, implement, and maintain administrative policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices aligned with company objectives.Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality services.Oversee office infrastructure, maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive workplace across company locations in Bangladesh.Coordinate with HR for onboarding, employee services, and administrative support for organizational events and training.Prepare and manage administrative budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify areas for cost optimization.Lead and mentor administrative staff; build a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and capacity building.Work closely with senior management to support organizational planning, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional and timely communication.Required skills and experienceProven experience in senior administrative or operations roles—preferably at Director or equivalent level (minimum 10 years of relevant experience).Strong leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-location office operations.Excellent organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in vendor management, contract negotiation, procurement, and facilities oversight.Good financial acumen to prepare and manage budgets and operational costs.Strong communication skills in English and Bengali; ability to interact with senior executives and external stakeholders.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in Bangladesh.Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and common office-management systems.Preference will be given to Retired Commissioned Officers from Bangladesh Army in the rank of Major/Lt.
