Job Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables and create project plans with schedules and budgets.
  • Develop project timelines and set milestones; monitor progress against milestones and deadlines.
  • Assemble, lead and manage project teams; assign tasks, provide guidance and resolve conflicts.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, keep them informed about progress, risks and issues, and manage expectations.
  • Identify and manage project risks; develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure the safety and safeguarding of team members and beneficiaries; act as a key source of safeguarding guidance.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses and allocate resources effectively.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, implement improvements and ensure deliverables meet standards.
  • Oversee execution of project activities; identify and address issues promptly during implementation.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, documentation, and final project evaluations; archive lessons learned.
  • Lead project proposal writing and contribute to future program design.
  • Travel frequently to project field sites (minimum 50%) for monitoring and support.

Job Description

Protibondhi Community Centre (PCC) invites qualified Bangladeshi professionals to apply for the role of Coordinator for the PCC-EREDMCM project: "Equal Rights and Economic Dignity for Marginalized Communities in Mymensingh" funded by CSI-Luxembourg. This job circular seeks a motivated, experienced development practitioner to lead a three-year project (with possible renewal) that promotes social inclusion, inclusive education, economic empowerment, and equal opportunities for marginalized groups. Required skills and qualifications Master’s degree in Social Sciences / Economics / Business Administration / Development Studies (MSS preferred). At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in national or international organizations, with minimum 3 years in development work including inclusive education, advocacy and disability-related work. Proven experience in NGO program/project management with strong planning, budgeting and reporting skills. Hands-on computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong leadership, team management, stakeholder liaison and communication skills. Practical experience in safeguarding, child protection, gender equity, and inclusive programming. Ability to travel frequently within project areas; motorcycle driving with a valid license is required.
