Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain internal financial summaries, including checkbooks, bank withdrawal summaries, bank reconciliations, and cash expenditure reports.
- Support the development and implementation of audit plans and assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Establish and maintain communication with payees, clients and stakeholders regarding accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations applicable in Bangladesh.
- Verify and approve cash, bank, and journal vouchers; review and process invoices and payroll.
- Perform physical verification of company fixed assets and inventory.
- Coordinate monthly departmental audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Manage online banking activities securely.
- Analyze accounting and financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain systems for revenue/expenditure management, budgeting, and financial performance evaluation.
- Prepare audit data analyses using computer-aided audit tools where applicable.
