For Department of English specifically, at least CGPA 3.50 in one degree (Bachelor or Master’s) and at least CGPA 3.25 in the other. For Engineering & Technology (Textile): 4-Year Bachelor Degree / Master’s degree in relevant discipline having three first divisions/classes/equivalent grades (i.e., CGPA 3.50 on a scale of 4.00). PhD holders in relevant disciplines should have three first classes/equivalent grades (one from either Bachelor or Master). Candidates with foreign degrees / PhD and publications or university-level teaching experience will be given preference. Preferred skills & attributes: Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant discipline (English, Law or Textile Engineering). Teaching and curriculum development skills. For Textile Engineering candidates, practical factory or industrial experience in textile machinery design and maintenance is advantageous.
