Develop and update curricula to meet academic and industry standards. Assess students’ performance, provide mentoring, and supervise final year projects and theses. Perform academic and administrative duties, including committee work and program management. Undertake original research, publish in recognized peer-reviewed journals and secure research funding. Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance students’ holistic development. Provide leadership in program development, accreditation, and quality assurance activities. Required experience and publications At least 7 years of teaching and research experience in a relevant field (minimum requirements vary by discipline as detailed below). Demonstrated record of publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals (minimum publication counts differ by discipline). Education requirements (summary) For CSE: PhD with 7 years of teaching experience (including at least 4 years as Assistant Professor) and at least 6 publications in recognized journals; OR MPhil/Master’s from a reputed foreign university with 9 years of teaching experience (including 5 years as Assistant Professor) with at least 10 publications. For Textile Engineering: Preference given to PhD holders. Experienced candidates without PhD may be considered if they demonstrate leadership in academic, administrative and research activities. Minimum of 7 years teaching and research experience, with at least 5 years at the university level; or MPhil/Master’s with 10 years teaching and research experience (including 7 years at the university level). At least 5 publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals (at least 3 as first/corresponding author). Skills and attributes Strong teaching and pedagogical skills; ability to design and deliver high-quality lectures and assessments. Active research profile and proven ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals. Good academic leadership, program coordination and administrative skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a university company environment.
