Job Responsibilities
- Plan and implement project activities according to the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP); prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly work plans.
- Provide oversight and day-to-day supervision of frontline staff; lead monthly meetings and coaching/mentoring.
- Act as primary point of contact at union-level with local government, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders.
- Support SRHR, DRR, and Livelihood Officers in carrying out field activities and ensure logistics for trainings and sessions.
- Facilitate group formation, eco-club establishment, and community-based events, dialogues, and awareness sessions.
- Support monitoring, data collection (using smartphone/tablet), documentation, and reporting of project progress and lessons learned.
- Support MEAL activities and contribute to developing and following a robust MEAL plan.
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Finance, Admin, Logistics) to ensure appropriate resourcing.
- Promote linkages with government departments, private sector and market actors to expand livelihood opportunities.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is seeking a motivated Union Supervisor to join a community-driven project aimed at strengthening climate resilience and preventing child, early, and forced marriage (CEFM) in Cox’s Bazar. This role requires frequent travel to host communities and direct management of frontline staff to deliver program activities as per the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP).
