Global Profit Garment (Bangladesh) Co., Ltd is seeking an experienced HR & Compliance Officer to lead strategic human resources and compliance functions at its Tangail (Sakhipur) facility. The project will create approximately 1,990 jobs and aims for rigorous compliance with applicable labor and environmental standards. Key responsibilities (summary): Develop and implement strategic HR plans aligned with company goals. Oversee recruitment, manpower planning, payroll, and HR administration. Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing skill development for production and administrative staff. Lead internal audits, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement projects to satisfy buyer and certification requirements. Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy and law. Serve as the main point of contact for external audits and statutory inspections; ensure full documentation and follow-up. Required skills and qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience; 5–10 years preferred with garments industry exposure. Strong knowledge of Bangladesh labor law and international buyer codes of conduct. Hands-on experience managing social, environmental and security audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, GRS, GOTS, CTPAT, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to develop HR policies, lead recruitment and manage payroll/HRIS systems.
