Job Responsibilities
- Support the project management unit in designing and implementing the project monitoring and documentation framework.
- Develop data collection tools, checklists, and templates for tracking system installation, usage, and performance.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to assess progress, collect feedback, and verify data accuracy.
- Coordinate with Technical Supervisor and Community Mobilizers to ensure timely data collection from refugee and host community households.
- Maintain an updated database on project beneficiaries, installation progress, and system performance.
- Analyze data and prepare concise monthly, quarterly, and final progress reports for internal and donor submission.
- Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices, highlighting community experiences and technical outcomes.
- Capture high-quality photos, videos, and case studies for project communication and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in organizing monitoring visits, field assessments, and review meetings with project partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with project and donor requirements.
- Support baseline, midline, and endline evaluations through coordination with external consultants or partner organizations.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the project management unit to support reporting, learning, and knowledge management.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to design and implement monitoring systems and data collection tools.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Bangla (Chittagonian advantage).
- Experience in MEAL and participatory, gender-sensitive monitoring approaches.
- Proficiency with digital data collection and visualization tools (KoboToolbox, ODK, Excel, Power BI).
- Strong coordination, teamwork, interpersonal skills and high ethical standards.
- Adaptability to work in challenging field conditions in refugee and host community contexts.

Job Description
NGO Forum for Public Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Monitoring and Documentation Officer to join the Transforming Humanitarian Energy Access (THEA) project in Cox's Bazar.
