Job Responsibilities

  • Support overall field coordination and technical implementation of e-cooking pre-pilot activities.
  • Supervise field-level installation, testing and commissioning of solar-powered e-cooking systems.
  • Ensure installations comply with approved technical drawings, safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to field technicians during installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Assist in preparing field implementation plans, material checklists and progress updates.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of installed systems.
  • Support data collection on system functionality, user satisfaction and technical performance.
  • Coordinate with Community Mobilizers for site preparation, household selection and user training.
  • Facilitate on-site user demonstrations on safe and efficient operation of e-cooking appliances.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including installation reports, system issue logs and field visit records.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of solar equipment, tools and materials.

Overview: NGO Forum for Public Health invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Technical Supervisor to support implementation of a solar-powered e-cooking pre-pilot under the Transforming Humanitarian Energy Access (THEA) project.
