Job Responsibilities
- Overall monitoring, supervision and administrative management of the branch
- Supervise center managers and field staff; provide guidance and training
- Ensure correct implementation of savings and loan activities and maintain branch financial records
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports to head office
- Conduct weekly and monthly meetings and provide performance direction
- Take immediate corrective action for branch-level problems and inform authorities
- Ensure accurate loan appraisal, 100% verification and timely disbursement
- Implement measures to recover loan installments and reduce arrears
- Coordinate with local NGOs, CBOs and local government for program activities

This circular invites eligible candidates to join as Branch Manager to ensure effective branch administration, financial discipline and service delivery.Role summary: The Branch Manager will lead branch-level administration, supervise center managers and field staff, ensure proper savings and loan activities, maintain accurate financial records and reports, and follow organizational policies and PKSF guidelines. The role requires strong leadership, proficiency in Microfin-360 and MS Office, excellent reporting and analytical skills, and regular field mobility.Key responsibilities (high level):Overall monitoring and supervision of branch operations and staff.Ensure proper implementation of savings and loan activities and maintain branch financial records.Prepare weekly, monthly and special reports and submit them on time to the authorities.Conduct weekly and monthly meetings and provide guidance to staff.Take immediate corrective actions for branch-level issues and inform appropriate authority.Ensure accurate loan appraisal, 100% verification for loan proposals and timely loan disbursement.Take proactive measures for loan recovery and reduce arrears; work with defaulters to recover overdue installments.Participate in organizational training and maintain organizational policies and standards (gender sensitivity and equity).Coordinate with local NGOs, CBOs and local government forums for programme implementation.Perform any other duties assigned by senior management.Required qualifications & education:Bachelor/Honors (minimum) — Masters preferred.Minimum 2 years of practical experience in branch manager or equivalent position in microcredit / microfinance programmes; 3–5 years preferred for similar roles.Experience & preferred background:Minimum 2 years (typical requirement 2–3 years) of field experience in NGO/microfinance programmes, preferably with PKSF-financed projects.Demonstrated ability in branch-level financial management, loan cycle management and staff supervision.Skills and competencies:Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Microfin-360 software.Strong leadership, team management and decision-making skills.Excellent report writing, data analysis and documentation skills.Ability to travel regularly in field areas and work across multiple branch locations.Valid motorcycle driving license and ability to ride a motorcycle (personal motorcycle an advantage).Commitment to organizational values, gender sensitivity and equal-rights approach.Job nature & workplace: FullTime position.
