OverviewInstitute of Applied Health Sciences (IAHS) invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Neuromedicine. This role is important for the company and students alike and is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to progress their academic career within a dynamic educational environment.Key responsibilitiesDeliver lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical teaching sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Neuromedicine.Design and assess coursework, assignments, exams, quizzes and clinical evaluations to measure student performance.Provide academic counseling and supervision to students during scheduled office hours and clinical rounds.Assist in academic administration including course scheduling, grading, curriculum review, and program coordination.Prepare and maintain accurate clinical and hospital patient reports and documentation related to neuromedicine activities.Promote institutional interaction and collaborative research development activities across departments and external partners.Contribute to faculty meetings, departmental planning, and quality assurance initiatives.Required qualifications & educationFCPS or MD in Neurology from any BM&DC-recognized institution.At least 3 years of relevant experience (minimum three years as Assistant Professor is specified in additional requirements).Minimum of three published articles in BM&DC-recognised journals (as per BM&DC rules).Skills and attributesStrong teaching and presentation skills suitable for medical students and trainees.Clinical competence in neurology/neuromedicine and patient report preparation.Proven academic writing and research aptitude; demonstrated publication record.Good interpersonal and mentoring skills; ability to support students academically and professionally.Organizational skills for academic administration and program coordination.Commitment to institutional goals, research development and collaboration.ExperienceThe position requires a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including at least three years served as an Assistant Professor or equivalent academic-grade experience in neuromedicine.
