Key responsibilities (summary): Ensure proper storage, receiving, and issue management of labels, poly, hangtags, cartons, gum tapes, accessories and trims, and other store items. Implement and maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock management. Prepare and update daily inward and outward reports and maintain accurate stock records. Monitor and report overstock and understock conditions and escalate shortages or damages promptly. Maintain ERP and/or Excel-based inventory records and ensure proper data entry. Coordinate with vendors and the supply chain teams to ensure timely supply and returns handling. Handle issue-return processes, stock control, and regular reporting to management. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes. Place goods into appropriate locations and ensure labeling and storage conditions meet requirements. Maintain daily logs of inward and outward movements and reconcile physical counts with system records. Run periodic cycle counts and support full stocktakes; identify discrepancies and coordinate investigations. Report damaged or missing items promptly and follow established procedures for claims or adjustments. Support ERP/Inventory system implementation and continuous data quality improvements. Required education and experience: Education: Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting or Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting. Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years in store/inventory roles. Candidates with experience in physiotherapy centers, diagnostic centres, clinics or chambers are preferred. Freshers who meet the education requirement may also apply. Skills and attributes: Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or inventory management software. Strong stock control skills, including FIFO implementation and issue/return handling. Good reporting skills and familiarity with daily inward/outward report preparation. Vendor coordination and communication skills. Honesty, responsibility, and ability to work effectively in a team.
