Job Responsibilities
- Assess children’s speech, language, communication and feeding/swallowing difficulties using standardized and informal assessment methods.
- Develop, implement and monitor individualized therapy plans to support language, articulation, comprehension, social communication and feeding goals.
- Provide therapy for articulation, expressive/receptive language delays, pragmatic/social communication and AAC (e.g., PECS).
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers and other professionals to maximize therapeutic outcomes and provide caregiver training.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment, goals, progress and therapy outcomes; perform regular progress reviews and update plans as required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate referrals when appropriate.

Job Description
Suraksha Autism and Neuro Disorders Center is inviting applications for an experienced and compassionate Speech‑language Therapist. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will evaluate, plan and deliver individualized therapy to improve speech, language, communication and feeding skills. Provide therapy for speech sound disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, pragmatic/social communication difficulties, and alternative/augmentative communication (AAC) including PECS and other AAC systems. Work collaboratively with families, caregivers and other professionals to maximize therapeutic outcomes and to provide caregiver training and home‑based strategies. Maintain accurate records of assessment, goals, progress and therapy outcomes; perform regular progress reviews and update plans as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contribute to case discussions and coordinate referrals when appropriate. Support center‑based multidisciplinary therapy programs and contribute to training and awareness activities as required by the company. Required qualifications & education Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent degree recognized by a reputed university. BSc in speech and language therapy recognized by DU or another reputable university is required. Experience & preferred background Experience working with children and adolescents, especially in autism spectrum and neurodevelopmental contexts, is preferred. Experience in related fields will be prioritized. Clinical experience with AAC/PECS, feeding therapy and development of individualized therapy programmes is advantageous. Skills & personal attributes Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in speech and language therapy. Practical knowledge of AAC systems (e.g., PECS), intervention strategies and family‑centered approaches. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to train and collaborate with parents and multidisciplinary team members. Patience, cultural sensitivity, empathy and a strong commitment to child‑centered therapy. Organizational skills for record keeping, progress monitoring and planning.
