Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring and supervising the implementation of project activities.
- Assist to identify potential microenterprises (MEs), select appropriate climate-resilient and resource-efficient cleaner production (RECP) practices for MEs and motivate them to adopt those practices.
- Provide technical support to MEs at cluster level.
- Explore circular economy, value-added product diversification and new market potentiality.
- Assist to produce monthly, Quarterly and annual progress report as per the requirement of the management.
- Regular field visit at project areas, tracking the MEs progress in adoption of the RECP practices and reporting.
- Any other tasks, duties or specific tasks assigned by Project Manager and Manager of the organization.

As the Technical Officer, you will gain practical field experience, contribute to monitoring and reporting, and support innovation and replication of RECP practices. Key responsibilities (summary): Assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring and supervising the implementation of project activities. Identify potential microenterprises (MEs) and select appropriate climate‑resilient and resource‑efficient cleaner production practices for MEs; motivate them to adopt these practices. Provide technical support to MEs at cluster level and conduct regular field visits to track progress. Explore circular economy options, value‑added product diversification and new market potential for MEs. Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports as required by project management. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Manager of the organization. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): Support in project planning: provide inputs for activity plans, schedules, and resource needs; help translate project objectives into actionable tasks at field level. Technical assessment: conduct baseline and technical assessments of agro‑based MEs to identify suitable RECP interventions and prioritize upgrades. Demonstration and training: organize and deliver hands‑on demonstrations, trainings and on‑site coaching for ME operators and workers. Monitoring & reporting: collect field data, prepare progress reports and maintain documentation to track adoption and results. Market linkage & value addition: research and propose value‑added product lines, packaging improvements and potential market channels to increase ME income. Required qualifications & experience: Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience. Experience in agro-based startups or similar businesses is desirable. Relevant project experience with PKSF or multi-lateral development partner-funded projects will be preferred. Experience may be relaxed for outstanding freshers. Age: 25 to 40 years (as stated in the circular). Other: Must be proficient in riding a motorcycle and possess a valid driving license. Skills and competencies: Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Knowledge of HACCP principles and application in small enterprises. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite. Resource management and teamworking abilities. Problem solving, field orientation and ability to engage with small business owners.
