Job Responsibilities

The company is focused on providing quality agricultural solutions and maintaining strong linkages with manufacturers, suppliers, research institutions and government offices.Key responsibilities (summary):Plan and execute a yearly product roadmap for new products and line extensions.Research and collect information on new molecules and products from local and international markets.Maintain regular communication and coordination with foreign manufacturers and suppliers.Arrange, supervise and evaluate product trials and field demonstrations.Lead product registration and renewal processes with relevant authorities; prepare required documentation for regulatory submissions.Build and maintain liaison with government offices, NGOs and research institutions to support product registration, trials and technical acceptance.Design, deliver and participate in training sessions for the sales force and other stakeholders.Prepare technical literature, promotional materials and training resources for existing and new products.Conduct regular market visits to identify product-related issues and provide technical solutions.Support and assist reporting authority with additional tasks as required for the company’s benefit.Detailed responsibilities:Develop comprehensive yearly schedules and roadmaps for product introductions and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely launch and market uptake.Identify promising international molecules and technologies, evaluate their suitability for Bangladesh conditions and recommend commercial actions.Manage relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers; coordinate sample procurement, documentation and technical exchanges.Plan and manage field trials, demonstration plots and efficacy studies; collect, analyze and report trial data to inform registration and marketing activities.Prepare all necessary dossiers for new product registration and renewals; follow up with regulatory bodies until approvals are secured.Engage with research organizations, extension services and NGOs to generate trial collaborations and credibility for products in relevant cropping systems.Design training modules, practical demonstrations and competency assessments for sales teams to ensure technically competent product representation in the market.Create concise and accurate technical literature and promotional content aimed at both technical users and end consumers.Conduct routine market surveillance and interact with dealers, retailers and end-users to troubleshoot product performance issues and collect feedback.Required education and experience:Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture; Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture is preferred.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; 3 to 5 years preferred, ideally with agro-based firms (including agro processing, seed businesses, or GM-related organizations).Skills and competencies:Strong technical knowledge in crop protection and agrochemical products.Experience with product trials, registration and regulatory affairs.Good training and presentation skills to effectively transfer technical knowledge to sales teams.Excellent communication and liaison skills for interaction with suppliers, regulatory authorities and research institutions.Ability to prepare technical documents, promotional and training materials.Willingness to travel frequently for field visits and demonstrations across Bangladesh.Other information: This is a Full Time position.
