Abdul Mannan Construction is seeking an experienced Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil) for an immediate opening. Key responsibilities: Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for bridge (PSC girder, RCC girder, arch) and road (BC road, RCC road) construction projects. Ensure implementation of construction drawings, specifications, and method statements. Perform quality control and inspection of materials and workmanship, including concrete works, reinforcement placement and finishing. Coordinate with senior engineers, contractors, suppliers and labor on scheduling, progress monitoring and issue resolution. Maintain site diaries, progress reports, and material/testing records. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on site. Assist in resource planning, equipment mobilization and logistics; occasional travel between project locations. Operate site vehicles as needed (valid driving license required). Education & experience requirements: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any recognized government or private university. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (typical requirement: 4–5 years); proven experience in engineering firms and field execution. At least 5 years’ experience in PSC girder, RCC girder and arch bridge works is preferred; minimum 3 years’ experience in BC road, RCC road and RCC drain works. Skills and competencies: Strong site supervision and construction management skills. Experience with bridge and road construction techniques (PSC, RCC, arch bridges). Good knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement detailing and formwork. Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with quality control testing and construction safety practices. Proficiency with MS Office and basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) is advantageous.
