Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for drivers, helpers and mechanics.
- Conduct orientation programs for new transport employees covering policies, responsibilities and benefits.
- Assist in payroll processing, maintain daily attendance and leave records, verify Trip Allowance bills.
- Execute final settlements and maintain documentation in accordance with labor laws.
- Draft official letters, notices and disciplinary communications in coordination with Head Office.
- Implement and monitor compliance requirements at the facility and ensure timely follow-up.
- Liaise with government and regulatory bodies to ensure legal compliance.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on recruitment, attendance, performance and compliance.

Role Summary: The Officer/Executive - ER & Admin (Transport Section) will handle end-to-end recruitment for transport staff, ensure compliance with labor laws, support payroll-related transport allowances, manage attendance and leave records for transport personnel, and coordinate all administrative matters related to the transport workforce. The incumbent will also prepare periodic reports, liaise with government and regulatory bodies, and implement internal compliance processes at facility level. Key responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for drivers, helpers, mechanics and other transport staff, including job posting, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding. Conduct orientation programs for new transport employees covering company processes, policies, job responsibilities, working conditions and available benefits. Assist in payroll processing for transport employees; maintain daily attendance, leave records and verify Trip Allowance bills for compliance with company policy. Execute final settlements and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with labor laws and company procedures. Draft and issue official letters, office notices and communications related to disciplinary actions, in coordination with the Head Office, ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Implement, monitor and document compliance requirements within the transport facility and ensure timely corrective actions and follow-up. Liaise with government and regulatory bodies to ensure full legal compliance of the transport operations and workforce matters. Prepare and submit periodic reports on recruitment, attendance, performance, compliance and other transport workforce metrics. Required experience and qualifications: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred 2–5 years) in HR/ER/Administration within Garments, Agro-based firms, Poultry, or Transport Service environments. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline is preferred. Practical knowledge of payroll-related processes including allowances and final settlements. Familiarity with Bangladesh labor laws and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to transport and factory operations. Skills & competencies: Strong recruitment and onboarding skills specific to blue-collar and transport staffing (drivers, helpers, mechanics). Good command of written and verbal communication — ability to draft official letters, notices and compliance documentation. Strong administrative and record-keeping capabilities; attention to detail for attendance, leave and allowance verification. Good relationship management skills to coordinate with head office, government agencies and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple administrative and compliance tasks concurrently.
