Job Responsibilities
- Drive fire trucks and other rescue vehicles quickly and safely during emergencies.
- Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations and emergency driving protocols.
- Position vehicles optimally at incident scenes to facilitate effective water supply and firefighting operations.
- Perform daily checks of fuel, water, oil, brakes, tyres, sirens, lights and other vehicle components; report faults promptly.
- Maintain vehicles in a clean, fully operational and ready-to-use state.
- Operate pumps to supply water and manage water pressure at incidents.
- Maintain and store onboard equipment (hoses, ladders, and other firefighting tools) properly.
- Know factory roads, hydrant locations and fastest routes to incident points.
- Prepare reports related to vehicle usage, maintenance and incidents.
- Inform superiors immediately of accidents, mechanical issues or unusual events.
- Participate in regular drills and training sessions.

Bashundhara Chemical Industries Limited is seeking a reliable, experienced and physically fit Fire Truck Driver for a critical safety role at our Chattogram (Mirsharai) facility. Immediately inform superiors of accidents, mechanical failures or any unusual events. Participate in regular drills and training sessions to maintain operational readiness. Required skills and qualifications: Minimum education: SSC/HSC pass (ন্যূনতম এসএসসি/এইচএসসি পাশ হতে হবে). Valid heavy vehicle (heavy) driving license is mandatory. 8 to 10 years of driving and related experience, preferably in fire service or emergency response (experience in Group of Companies or industrial settings preferred). Strong knowledge of emergency driving techniques, vehicle maintenance and basic pump operation. Good physical fitness and mental resilience to work under stressful emergency scenarios. Ability to make quick decisions and lead vehicle positioning and water-supply operations on scene. Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to follow instructions from fire officers and safety managers. Preferred experience: candidates with prior service in Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence or similar emergency services will be given priority. Other requirements: Age: At least 25 years.
