Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain semi-automated biochemistry analyzers according to SOPs.
  • Maintain essential infection control and laboratory safety measures.
  • Perform smearing and microscopy at optimum standards following SOP and guidelines.
  • Ensure maintenance of microscope and other laboratory equipment; manage reagents and laboratory logistics.
  • Maintain optimum standard of GeneXpert site operations.
  • Perform transfusion medicine-related tasks: donor selection, donor collection, cross-match and screening.
  • Participate in field outreach sputum collection and smearing when required.

Momtaj Trauma Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Technologist (Laboratory) to join our clinical team in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
