Job Responsibilities
- Ensure PSEA, safeguarding and awareness-raising to establish dignified living conditions for FDMN communities.
- Organize and implement culturally appropriate awareness campaigns on gender equality, SRHR and protection.
- Follow up and assist case workers to update referral pathways and manage case referrals with service providers.
- Conduct training for community volunteers and staff on protection principles, safeguarding, GBV and PFA.
- Operate and maintain Safe Spaces/Referral Hubs/Women-Friendly Spaces and design activities for women and girls.
- Develop IEC, SBCC and training modules for community engagement, GBV prevention and SRHR.
- Monitor effectiveness of referral mechanisms and support MEAL activities including surveys and data collection.
- Manage volunteer payments, vouchers, purchase requests and ensure financial compliance with IR guidelines.
- Coordinate with government bodies, UN agencies, CMOs, NGOs and sector coordination meetings.
- Manage complaint and feedback mechanisms (CFRM) and handle external/internal complaints per organizational requirements.
- Prepare and submit quality reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and safeguarding reports to country focal points.

OverviewIslamic Relief Bangladesh is recruiting for a critical protection role in its Humanitarian Crisis Response Programme. This is a field-facing job supporting Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar. The successful candidate will work with protection, GBV, safeguarding, PSS and community volunteers to ensure safe programming and high-quality referrals. Previous experience with NGOs, INGOs or UN agencies is preferred.Practical knowledge of project implementation, monitoring & evaluation, community mobilization, reporting, and basic financial management related to humanitarian programming.Skills & competenciesTechnical skills: Gender-based violence programming, Protection, Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (PSS), Safeguarding and PSEA.Operational skills: Volunteer management, training/facilitation, MEAL, documentation and report writing.IT skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, KoboToolbox and basic internet use.Language: Working knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
