Job Responsibilities
- Ensure company HR and operational practices comply with labor laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards specific to the spinning and garments sector.
- Monitor compliance status regularly in accordance with buyer requirements, national legislation, and international standards.
- Oversee legal compliance and adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct, including fire safety, building regulations, electrical safety, health, and occupational safety protocols.
- Lead and coordinate compliance initiatives, audits, and assessments to ensure full adherence to industry standards and statutory requirements.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievance handling, counseling, and initiatives to enhance employee motivation, engagement, and productivity.
- Support management in administrative, disciplinary, and grievance-related matters and collaborate to resolve personnel issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular factory inspections to ensure safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain HR and administrative records, correspondences, and documentation to support strategic HR planning.
- Monitor workplace security, oversee support staff activities, and ensure proper maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
- Provide support for CSR activities, official visits, and other organizational initiatives.
- Execute additional HR and administrative tasks as assigned by superiors.

Required skills and experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR and compliance within Garments, Textile, Spinning or a Group of Companies environment. Strong knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and statutory compliance requirements. Experience in compliance management, HRIS/HR database management, and human resource management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders including buyers and auditors. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a factory/industrial setting. Education & preferred profile: Preference will be given to candidates from major universities such as University of Dhaka, Jahangirnagar University, North South University, Independent University, Bangladesh, and Daffodil International University.
