Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services to the Paediatrics department, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and prescribing according to protocols.
  • Perform medical procedures and interventions such as injections, wound care, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate stabilisation and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, therapists and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality.
  • Conduct lectures and evening classes for MBBS students and medical internees as per academic schedule.
  • Participate in ward rounds and supervise patient admissions.
  • Assist in the completion of students’ clinical cards and clinical training tasks.
  • Conduct regular phase-wise classes, evening ward classes and clinical sessions as per approved schedule.
  • Prepare and maintain updated lecture timetables and ward/class schedules.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
  • Engage in peer review, case presentations, and knowledge sharing activities.
  • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Department Head or competent authority.
  • Work beyond regular office hours as per departmental instructions.
