Job Description

MiMi Distribution is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Bangladesh. As an Area Sales Manager you will play a central role in expanding market presence, managing distributor relationships, and leading a performance-driven sales team. Key responsibilities (summary): Create and recruit new potential distributors, develop channel partnerships and manage distributor relationships to expand market reach. Lead, manage, train and guide the sales team within the assigned territory to ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain balance between primary and secondary sales and ensure proper stock movement across distribution channels. Identify and explore B2B sales opportunities, new markets and business segments to increase revenue. Conduct market research, track competitor activity and identify product/price/service gaps to inform strategy and tactical sales plans. Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to management on sales performance, market trends and customer feedback. Work under pressure to meet sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and distributor satisfaction. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): Build and nurture long-term relationships with distributors, key accounts and channel partners to increase loyalty and retention. Coach and mentor field sales representatives; set targets and monitor performance; create action plans to address underperformance. Coordinate promotions, trade activities and product launches with distributors and retail partners. Manage logistics and inventory communication with distributors to avoid stock-outs or overstock situations. Required skills & qualifications: Education: Bachelor/Honors degree is required. Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales is preferred; experience in Trading, Export/Import, FMCG, Automobile Parts, lubricant or Industrial Products sales will be an advantage. Freshers are also encouraged to apply where indicated. Strong knowledge of sales processes, distributor management and B2B sales approaches. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for preparing reports and presentations. Good communication and negotiation skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel across assigned territory and work under pressure to meet targets. Other requirements & preferences: Age preference: 25 to 45 years.
