Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional, confidential, survivor-centered case management services to GBV survivors in line with guiding principles.
- Deliver case management services through GBVIMS+/Primero, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Ensure appropriate referrals and conduct follow-up to ensure quality service delivery and survivor support.
- Maintain accurate records while upholding data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Identify and manage high-risk cases, ensuring timely protective action and referrals.
- Build capacity of Prevention and Response Volunteers and Community Support Groups to strengthen community-based GBV prevention and response.
- Promote and implement safeguarding standards; follow safeguarding and SEA reporting procedures.
- Coordinate with health, protection and other service providers to strengthen referral pathways and multi-sectoral responses.
- Participate in monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of case management processes.

Job Description
BRAC is recruiting a dedicated Project Officer for Case Management within its Protection (HCMP) team based in Cox's Bazar. Please note the application deadline and apply before the last date.Key responsibilitiesProvide professional, confidential, survivor-centered case management services to GBV survivors at both host and camp levels in line with established guiding principles and ethical standards.Deliver and document case management services using GBVIMS+/Primero platform; ensure timely and accurate data entry, updates and data protection.Ensure appropriate referrals to relevant services (medical, psychosocial, legal, shelter and safety services) and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure quality service delivery and survivor support.Maintain accurate case records while upholding confidentiality and data protection standards; ensure safe storage and controlled access to sensitive information.Identify and assess high-risk cases promptly and make timely decisions for referrals and protection actions.Build capacity of Prevention and Response Volunteers and Community Support Groups; strengthen community-based prevention and response mechanisms for GBV.Promote a culture of safeguarding: ensure safety of programme participants, staff and stakeholders by practicing, promoting and implementing organisational safeguarding policies and reporting procedures (including SEA reporting).Contribute to outreach, community awareness, and coordination with protection, health, and other relevant actors to strengthen referral pathways and multidisciplinary responses.Participate in regular monitoring, reporting, and periodic review of case management processes to improve service quality and compliance with standards.Required education & experienceGraduation or Post-Graduation in Social Science, Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology or related disciplines.At least 2 years of relevant experience in case management, protection, or GBV response programming within an NGO, development agency or humanitarian context.Skills & competenciesPractical experience with GBV case management, including survivor-centered practice and confidentiality.Familiarity with GBVIMS+/Primero data platforms or similar case management systems.Strong counselling and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate sensitively with survivors and stakeholders.Solid knowledge of safeguarding, SEA (Sexual Exploitation & Abuse) prevention and reporting mechanisms.Ability to identify high-risk cases and take timely, appropriate action to ensure survivor safety.Good documentation, record-keeping and data protection practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Teamwork orientation, community engagement skills and ability to deliver capacity building to volunteers and community groups.Other qualifications & desirable attributesPatient, persuasive and decisive with good judgment in time-sensitive situations.Understanding of community dynamics in Cox's Bazar, including Rohingya camp contexts (Teknaf & Ukhia).Commitment to BRAC's values on inclusion, dignity and safeguarding.
