Job Responsibilities
- Managing financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
- Processing payments and invoices on time
- Ensuring VAT and taxes are paid on time and in compliance with regulations
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and forecasting future trends
- Developing financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk
- Conducting reviews to identify cost-reduction opportunities

Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines for management and external stakeholders. Processing vendor payments and customer-related invoicing, ensuring timely execution of payments and receipts. Ensuring VAT, taxes, and statutory obligations are adhered to and paid on time at an optimum level. Monitoring, interpreting, and forecasting cash flows and predicting future trends to inform working capital strategy. Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk and improve internal controls. Conducting periodic reviews to identify cost-reduction opportunities and operational efficiencies. Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure annual audits and statutory reviews are completed smoothly. Maintaining and developing relationships with external parties such as auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations. Maintaining up-to-date awareness of changes in financial regulations and legislation relevant to Bangladesh. Managing company budgeting processes and maintaining records for office and finance expenditures. Setting strategy, planning, and executing departmental initiatives for Finance & Reporting. Owning pricing and discount policy oversight across systems and ensuring proper fund management. Required skills and qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. 7 to 10 years of relevant experience; prior experience leading a finance team is required. Professional certification (CA/ACCA or CMA) is mandatory. Proven experience within Telecommunication, Direct Selling/Marketing, E-commerce, Fintech, Edtech, AdTech, or technology startup environments is highly desirable. Strong financial and analytical skills to assess and interpret financial data. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP9, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with government and non-government personnel and presenting complex information to varied stakeholders. Leadership, team mentoring, mentorship experience and strategic financial leadership capabilities. Attention to detail, time management, problem solving, and a results-oriented mindset.
