Job Responsibilities
- Prepare line-wise capacity plans based on buyer orders, style complexity, and SMV.
- Allocate styles to lines considering manpower, machine layout, and skill requirements.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets vs. actual performance.
- Assist Planning Manager in preparing Master Production Schedule.
- Adjust plans based on urgent orders, delays, or any changes.
- Collect order details (style, fabric, trims, delivery date, quantity) from merchandising team.
- Communicate order requirements with Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Quality departments.
- Track material availability (fabric, trims) and flag shortages to Supply Chain.
- Ensure production starts on time to meet shipment deadlines.
- Track cutting to finishing process flow and update status daily.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, IE (Industrial Engineering), and Production teams.
- Monitor bottlenecks in lines and take proactive measures for improvement.
- Any other task assigned by Department head.

Understanding of SMV, line balancing, and production flow (cutting to finishing). Good coordination and communication skills to work cross-functionally (Merchandising, IE, Supply Chain, Production). Problem solving and ability to flag and escalate material shortages or production bottlenecks. Basic computer skills (MS Office — Excel for planning and reporting). Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple orders and priorities to meet shipment dates. Education & experience Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering (or equivalent relevant qualification). 3 to 6 years of experience in garments/textile production planning or related roles.
