Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies, emergency response plans, and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, buyer requirements and factory certifications (Accord/Alliance, RSC, ISO).
- Supervise maintenance and functionality of all fire safety systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular fire drills, training and awareness sessions for workers and staff.
- Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment, hydrants, sprinklers, detectors, and emergency exits.
- Lead fire prevention audits and risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented on time.
- Liaise with fire service authorities, compliance teams and buyers during audits/inspections.
- Supervise a fire safety team and ensure proper deployment of fire wardens and safety personnel.
- Prepare fire safety reports and documentation for management and buyer compliance.
- Investigate and report any fire or safety-related incidents with preventive measures.
