Job Responsibilities
- Counsel students on higher education opportunities abroad with accurate and up-to-date information
- Provide telephonic and in-person counseling and invite potential students to the office
- Manage end-to-end application processes for universities and visa submissions
- Prepare students for visa interviews and conduct mock interview sessions
- Create SOPs, CVs and cover letters as assigned
- Engage with students via social media, photo/video content, FB live and telemarketing
- Represent the company at educational fairs, events and university meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents and agents
- Supervise and guide junior consultants
- Conduct surveys, analyze collected data and participate in client meetings
- Provide consulting services, identify problems and recommend solutions

OverviewMOVES PLUS is hiring an enthusiastic Educational Consultant / Assistant Educational Consultant to join our study-abroad team. If you are passionate about education, migration rules, and helping students achieve their global academic goals, this position offers hands-on experience and career growth.Why apply?Work with a multinational team and build direct experience with international admissions and visa procedures.Gain exposure to both sales & marketing and technical visa processing workflows.Opportunity for a permanent role after a 3-month provisional period based on performance.Primary responsibilitiesCounsel students on higher education opportunities abroad with accurate, current information about universities, programs, fees, scholarships and admission processes.Provide telephonic and in-person counseling; invite and engage potential students at the office and during events.Manage end-to-end application workflows, from initial consultation to submission of university applications and coordination of documents.Handle student visa application processes end-to-end, including document checks, application submission, and coordination with relevant authorities.Prepare students for visa interviews; conduct mock interviews and coach students on expected questions and behavior.Create and help edit SOPs, CVs and cover letters for students when assigned.Build strong relationships with students, parents and local/international agents; respond to queries in a timely and professional way.Engage students through social media and digital channels using content such as photos, videos and live sessions to generate leads and brand awareness.Represent MOVES PLUS (Student World) at educational fairs, university delegate meetings and public events.Support and manage junior consultants, providing guidance and training as needed.Participate in market research, surveys and data analysis to inform strategy and services.Contribute to client meetings to discuss objectives, budgets and timelines; recommend tailored solutions.Required skills & qualificationsBachelor/Honors degree required; Master’s preferred.2 to 5 years of relevant experience in education consultancy, immigration/visa processing, travel & tourism, market research, or related sectors.Strong communication skills in English and Bangla — both written and spoken.Practical knowledge of visa application procedures, documentation requirements and country-specific processes.Experience with student management systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet research and fast typing.Interpersonal skills: active listening, clear communication, intercultural competence, empathy and confidentiality.Problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, patience and adaptability.Familiarity with social media marketing, telemarketing, and lead generation techniques.Desirable training & certificatesVisa Processing Expert courses (e.g., SkyFlyer, TRV Global, Skill Planet or similar) are beneficial.Prior experience in airline, immigration consulting, edtech, recruitment or tourism sectors is a plus.Compensation & benefitsMonthly salary range: Tk. 10,000 - 20,000 (salary review: yearly).Performance bonus, travel allowance (T/A) and partial mobile bill support.Partially subsidized lunch facilities and 2 festival bonuses per year.Opportunity for career growth and permanent placement after a successful provisional period.How to applyThis job posting (circular) from MOVES PLUS is open to applicants based in Bangladesh.
